The Church of the Nazarene is a global denomination with ministries in over 160 world areas.  The Intermountain District is on the Northwest Region and includes over fifty churches across a four-state region of the Intermountain West.  These congregations are located in Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Central and Northwest Nevada, and Utah.  The Intermountain District also owns a wonderful camp and conference facility called Trinity Pines, which is located in Cascade, Idaho.

Reflecting the structure of the Global Church of the Nazarene, regular leadership throughout the year is provided by a District Superintendent.  This person is elected by delegates from the congregations across the district in a legislative body called the District Assembly, which meets each spring to care for the business of the district.  Between meetings of the Assembly, the District Superintendent works with the District Advisory Board to provide support, direction, and training to pastors and lay leaders of the congregations.  Various teams also offer leadership in specific areas, including Discipleship (NDI), Missions (NMI), and Youth (NYI) Ministries.
