The primary goal of 48 HOURS of PRAYER

To involve as many people as possible in praying for the Campmeeting during the 48 hours leading up to the beginning

of the first service on Wednesday, July 21.

Here’s how to participate in these 48 Hours of Prayer:

1.    Let us know you’re planning to participate in some way.  Simply email us at acts114@gmail.com.  We’ll send you some specific ways you can be praying for Campmeeting.

Letting us know you’re participating allows us opportunity to update everyone on the response.  We hope that will be an encouragement to all!

Note: Your email address will never be forwarded to anyone and will be used by us to communicate to you about the Acts 1:14 prayer initiative.

2.     Choose a way to participate (see the list below or create your own) and let us know what that will be.

Ways to participate in 48 Hours of Prayer

1.   Fast one meal during the 48 hour time-frame and use that time to pray for Campmeeting.

2.   Fast in some other fashion, using that time for prayer instead.  For example, you might fast

3.   Step outdoors for a “prayer walk.”  Find a time when you can be alone and a great place to walk, and pray.  A biblical model is the marching of the people of Israel around Jericho.  Pray for new victories in your own life and in the lives of those who will attend the services.

4.   Get in touch with a fellow-believer and join together in prayer.

5.   Consider a mix of the above, varying the option according to the time of day – morning, afternoon, and evening.  Let this be 48 hours truly set aside for intercession.

6.   Memorize a scripture and use it as a model of prayer – letting this scripture-prayer saturate these 48 hours as you go through the tasks of your days.

7.   Choose a 15-, 30-, 45-, or 60-minute time frame to wait before the Lord in prayer.

8.   Make up your own idea and plan . . . and share it with us!
